Suwanee Police Substation Grand Opening
On September 12th, the Suwanee Police Substation and Training Facility opened its doors to the public. The stunning 7,100 square foot facility was designed by TSW, a renowned architecture and planning firm. The building serves as a highly visible police presence for the community and doubles as a state-of-the-art training facility for the Suwanee Police Department.
TSW’s main objective was to design a building that would serve as an enjoyable training and gathering center for the police staff, while also making a striking visual statement for its Suwanee Gateway location. The end result is a beautiful, modern structure that boasts an impressive, sleek exterior design.
One of the key features of the Suwanee Police Substation and Training Facility is its flexibility. The facility was designed to accommodate traditional police department classes, as well as indoor firearms practice. This versatility allows the Suwanee Police Department to conduct various types of training in-house, making it a more efficient and cost-effective option for the department.
The building’s interior design is just as impressive as its exterior. The police staff can enjoy a bright and welcoming space with modern amenities, including a conference room, classrooms, and offices. The facility also includes a break room and locker rooms for the officers, providing them with a comfortable and convenient space to relax and store their belongings.
Overall, the Suwanee Police Substation and Training Facility is an exceptional addition to the Suwanee community. TSW’s innovative design has created a beautiful and functional space for the Suwanee Police Department that serves as both a training facility and a highly visible police presence for the community. The Suwanee Police Department can now continue to provide excellent service to the community while also having access to state-of-the-art training facilities.
