The Vickery Plan is a 210-acre mixed-use development project originated by the well-known firm of Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co. After conducting a one-week charrette, Hedgewood Properties hired TSW, a leading architecture and engineering firm, to carry the plan forward from concept to implementation. The project is made up of a town center, which serves as the focal point and includes a YMCA and community green, retail and office spaces, and a variety of residential options such as live/work units, townhomes, and single-family homes.
TSW has been involved in all aspects of the project, from master planning to schematic and construction documents for the town center. The firm’s responsibilities also include final construction documents which includes grading, hardscape, and planting plans for the streetscapes and public open spaces in the town center.
