Experience

Experience

Chris has worked as a landscape architect since 2015 and joined TSW in 2019.  His favorite projects are public parks, greenways, and inclusive civic spaces.  His project experience includes diverse sites such as public greenspaces, streetscapes, multi-use trails, multi-family apartments, restaurants and retail, hotels, and offices.  He is knowledgeable about the full scope of the design process, from master-planning through construction.  He is particularly interested in the ecological and hydrological aspects of landscape design, such as how infiltration-based stormwater infrastructure and native plantings can beautifully integrate the built environment with natural systems.  Since 2023 Chris has produced erosion control plans as a GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional, taking an active role in protecting water quality during construction and beyond.

Chris is a registered landscape architect, a member of GAASLA, and has contributed to numerous pro bono projects with the Sustainable Design Collaborative Atlanta: an organization of multi-disciplinary design professionals who volunteer their skills to support small local organizations making a social and environmental impact.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me…with my family, maybe working in the garden, paddling a canoe, or riding a bike.
