The beautiful new Gwinnett-Snellville Library and Business Building was designed by TSW to serve as an anchor for the new, $100 million Grove at Towne Center. It was commissioned by Gwinnett County and the City of Snellville, Georgia, and is scheduled to open in late 2023. The two-story building, located at 2286 Oak Road in Snellville includes a Gwinnett County Public Library branch on the first floor and a co-working and event space on the second floor. The building’s aesthetics reference the historic granite buildings common to the original downtown located just south of the new city center. Local natural granite stone was hand-chiseled by local craftsmen for the building façade. The project is seeking LEED certification.
